My Mom’s treasured caliber for me is the .303 British because it has the best combo of power and speed to make it the most versatile for the different types of game in New Hampshire.

My Mom’s desired caliber for me is the 7 H&R Mag because it has the best combo of power and speed to make it the most versatile for the different types of game in Indiana. My dad said his favored caliber is the 7 Remington Mag he got at a DU banquet last season. One issue with the Ruger 300 Browning magnum is that it can’t be reloaded until all the magazine rounds have been expended. I got my Ruger in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Naturita, Indiana.

The best caliber is either the 458 Win Magnum or 7mm WSM - what ever I have handy when I see one of the little buggers. My most admired rifle is everything made by Savage. My favored caliber is probably the 7mm WSM from Dick’s Sporting Goods in Eskridge. One issue is that it cannot fire as fast as the 7mm WSM.
