My brother’s most popular hunting rifle is my Tikka Lite Stainless 224 Ruger Magnum with a checkered blond walnut stock. I got my Tikka 224 Winchester Magnum at the Dick’s Sporting Goods in Peotone.
One thing I don’t like is that huge amounts of power are required to accelerate 256 Win Magnum projectiles to such speeds. My dad got his rifle at my beloved sporting goods store in Peotone.
