One issue is that the Dakota doesn’t have a detachable magazine. My dad got his rifle at the auction for the estate of Paul Laplante who was once the postmaster in Northmoor. My most favorite rifle is everything made by Dakota. My favorite is definitely 270 Win (150 grain). I got my Dakota 270 Win at the Wiley Outdoor Sports in Northmoor.
