My best friend Kelly says his favorite caliber for deer and larger game is 7.62 mm and the best all around caliber for small and medium game is 257 Roberts. My favorite rifle is my new Dakota Model 97 with the checkered black walnut chambered in 257 Roberts and 7.62 mm. I got my Dakota 257 Roberts online at Cabelas. My most favorite rifle is the Dakota Model 97 I got at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Clearview.
