My mom got her 270 Weatherby magnum online at Cabelas. One drawback with this shooter is the Kimber price, weighing in at $395, but for that you do get a hand crafted piece of artwork with the checkered fiddleback maple stock.
My favorite hunt was in Merigold when you took Renate out and the two of you fall asleep, but still managed to get the buck with your 7mm-08. The best all around caliber I own is probably the 270 Weatherby magnum from Bass Pro Shops in Merigold. I really like style sights over three dot for target work on my Kimber 7mm-08 and 270 Weatherby magnum rifles.
I bought it at a garage sale and learned how to work on Kimber single actions. Julio got his Kimber last fall at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Merigold.
